With a new month comes a chance for me to try something different. Lately I’ve been just been pushing out reviews (along with an occasional award nomination or two), which is fine since that’s the only reason most people will visit this blog. However, I think I should be giving my dear readers an idea of where I’m going with these reviews.
Since I started this blog a little over 5 months ago, I have a lot of yuri shows and games to cover. I decided that reviewing at least one yuri show and/or game a week, on top of doing my weekly episode reviews, would be considered decent progress. However, I recently realized that the year is going to a close.
As such, I’m going to stop rewatching older shows that I’ve viewed before, which is what I’m currently doing, and start combing through the yuri shows that aired this year, 2016, in order to compile a comprehensive “yuri anime that aired in 2016” list. I’m thinking I’ll seperate it into four sections (since there’s four seasons) and each section will have “top pick (for the season),” “underrated show,” and “disappointing show” categories. I’m not sure yet. Of couse, you can feel free to disagree with my rankings and voice your opinion, too. I know I stand at odds with some people in regards to my taste and preferences…
So that’s a big blog post that I’m going to be working on. In the meanwhile, however, I need to play and review all the yuri visual novels that have recently came out. This includes Ne no Kami, Sakura Maid 1-3, Sweet Volley High, Ladykiller in a Bind, and Love, Guitars, and the Nashville Skyline. And since I’m also planning on reviewing all the yuri games that came out this year in order to create a comprehensive list for 2016 yuri visual novels, I have a few other games to play / replay that came out before I started this blog.
Anyways, I just wanted to get that off my chest before I started grinding out video games. Hopefully I didn’t bore you all to death. Toodles!
Looking forward to read your “yuri anime that aired in 2016” list!

Thanks! I hope it doesn’t disappoint.
It’s a good thing there’s some holidays this month or I wouldn’t be able to cover the visual novels and anime that came out this year, haha.
