I Was Nominated for the Unique Blogger Award!

I know I had just posted about the Blogger Recognition Award, but Avani nominated me for the Unique Blogger Award around the same time. Thank you, Ava! You should really check out her blog, by the way. She may call herself a random nerdgirl, but she has great tastes in both literature and anime!

The Rules

  • Share the link of the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
  • Answer the questions.
  • In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 8-13 people for the same award.
  • Ask them three questions.

Avani’s Questions

Q1: If you could get a chance to visit a fictional world, which one would it be?

Maybe the world of Saki, where mahjong is super popular? It’s the only thing I’m remotely good at, so I might be able to have a modest amount of success there. Then again, it’s only the girls who have the supernatural mahjong powers, so I would just be a boring, normal player there, too.

Q2: What is your least favourite book/anime?

Right now I’m not fond of Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars. What a waste of time. What was the whole point of the thing? They should have just cancelled the series after episode four.

Q3: Name the funniest book/anime you’ve read/watched.

It’s a toss-up between Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou or Hataraku Maou-sama. Clannad certainly had its funny moments, too, but it also had its sad moments, as well. I was rather impressed with the comedic timing of Bakuon!!,  as well.

I tried to avoid nominating someone who’s already been nominated, but I probably messed up. In my defense, it’s almost 3 AM again, hooray. Maybe I’ll sleep until 4:30 and then get up and go buy fast food for breakfast before heading to work. I am the quintessential American due to how I mistreat my body, I know.

My Questions

  1. Have you ever liked an unpopular character (in anime, film, novels, etc)? Which character earned your affection despite the masses’ low opinion of the character in question? Did you ever try to defend said character?
  2. Does the ends justify the means?
  3. Say you are eating a bento that happens to have some of the things that you like. Do you save your favorite dishes for last or do you eat them first?

Ta-ta for now, folks!

  2. Holy crap. I just missed a few days of not reading stuff here and now I learn that you got nominated to something awesome again. \o/

Now I have two pending posts (from you). S-Sendpie, you need to be gentle or I won’t be able to keep up. (⁄ ⁄◕⁄ω⁄◕⁄ ⁄✿)

    1. Haha, yeah, they had popped in around the same time last week so here there are! It’s great that this community is so nice to each other. If only all video game communities were like this.
You mean three since I have another pending one that’ll be coming out tomorrow… assuming I don’t get too wasted. You already know you’re on the list~
Coalhigh-chan, I have confidence in your abilities. That’s why I won’t hold back since I know you’ll keep up.

  3. Congratulations on the award and thank you for the nomination! Ahh you can play mahjong!? My mum made me play with her and her friends once. I was so convinced I was winning the whole time and then they smashed me into the ground ;_;

    1. Thank you! And it was my pleasure to nominate you!
Yeah, it was my passion for over a year. I’ve been trying to quit recently since my days just disappear whenever I start playing haha.
      Mahjong is tricky like that. Sometimes I’d be convinced unless winning too until I get destroyed. I feel your pain ;___;

    1. Thank you Leafy! Mmm I’m still a college student at heart, it seems! Hopefully your lifestyle is better than this, though.
      You’re very welcome! I know you’ll share a wonderful post~

  4. Congratulations! (And thanks for reminding me that I need to get to this ASAP).
Good luck getting some sleep sometime soon. I can’t judge since my sleep and food habits are far from sensible.

    1. Thanks! Sorry for the late reply. I’m glad I reminded you, but I’m sure you didn’t need lil ol me to do that!
Right now I’m staying up pretty late and relying on coffee to keep me awake while I earn that hourly wage. I can’t say I really like coffee, either, but it’s a necessary evil if I continue this lifestyle.
It’s cramming time, isn’t it? At least the holidays are almost here, yay! Don’t go overboard with your schedule okay?

      1. I’m a fan of coffee but I admit that it starts to taste atrocious when you’re depending on it to keep you awake and more or less aware. All the luck to you.

Oh I wish it was cramming time but no, the exam peeps decided rearrange the whole thing so that I have 16 days of study time and 4 successive days of exam. I think they were high when they settled on that. My brain is going numb.

        1. Mmm good point. Still, it’s rsther effective. Just a cup an hour and I’m ready to go! Thanks, I wish you the best of luck, too.
What the heck? That’s terrible. Is there any way to get them to rearrange things for you? Apparently some students at my school were entitled to complain if they had three days of exams back to back and alternative exam days were arranged.

I-it's not like I want you to leave a comment or anything. B-baka.
