Hello again! This is day four of my collaboration post series with Acacia Aurora! One more day to go∼
This time we’re talking about our top three funniest manga!
Acacia Aurora’s list can be found here!
Day 1: Top Three Tomboys – My list and Acacia’s list
Day 2: Top Three One-shots – My list and Acacia’s list
Day 3: Top Three Cool Old Dudes – My list and Acacia’s list
3. Grand Blue
No, I’m not talking about the mobile game known as GranBlue. Grand Blue is a hilarious gag manga that centers around a college freshmen and his hijinks with the so-called diving club, “Peek-a-Boo!” The excessive male nudity as well as the running gags involving alcohol (I’ll never look at oolong tea the same way ever again) may rub some people the wrong way, but I still think it’s worth giving this manga a shot.

It’s a bit weird reading this after watching Amanchu!, I have to admit!
2. Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai ~Tensai-tachi no Ren’ai Zunousen~
Wow! That name is quite a mouthful. It basically translates into “Kaguya Wants to be Confessed to ~The Geniuses’ War of Love and Brains~” (but most folk refer to it as Kaguya). The manga is about two geniuses trying to get each other to confess first. Shinomiya Kaguya is the one who’s usually on the offense while Shirogane Miyuki fends off her attacks.
I don’t know, I should be getting mad that these two lovebirds aren’t confessing to each other, but the antics and the lengths they go in order to emerge victorious in this “battle” are great.
And then I proceed to show pictures focusing on the secondary characters instead of the main characters. Good going, me!

1. D-Frag!
Yes, I know that the series got an anime adaptation, but it… didn’t quite live up to my expectations. It’s a bit disappointing. But the manga is way betterrrr. Please, please give it a shot if you’re in the mood to laugh! One possible issue is the fact that there are so many characters which may make things hard to keep track of, however.

Well, those are some of the manga I read when I want to cheer up. I hope these series can bring a smile to your face, too! I would love to hear about manga that make you laugh in the comments section!
Haven’t read the other 2 but Grand Blue is a killer. Never laughed so much in such a short amount of time!

Haha, right? I think my favorite chapter was when they went to the senpai’s workplace where he works as a part-time bartender.
You should give the other two a shot, too!

I haven’t really read any of these, but that is mainly because I don’t read a lot of manga. I am getting more into it though. One of the Manga’s I always thought was very funny was Urusei Yatsura. It also had an Animeseries which ran for a whopping 195 episodes (not including OVA’S). It was a very funny series and well worth watching and reading 😀

Fair enough. Manga is so different from anime!
Oh, I’ll have to check that one out. It was quite a long runner huh? Thanks for the rec!

I love funny mangas! Even if they’re beyond silly at times, how can you resist their charm?
Thank you for the recs 🙂

Right? Sometimes they are a bit over the top but I suppose that’s what makes them great.
You’re very welcome and thanks you for dropping by! c:
