Haaaah, this is day five outta five of my collaboration with Acacia Aurora and we’re breaking the mold with the “Worst Three OTPs!” We kind of took a brief break but here it is! It’s our last collab for this series, whooooa
But, yeah, I think these pairings are no good and the characters are better off being paired off with someone else or being alone. Nothing wrong with being alone, okay? Okay. Yeah.
And the featured image is supposed to be the ugliest ship I could find. Because these ships suck.

3. Alice x Shinobu – Kiniro Mosaic
Their bond just seems weak. Sure, remembering each other from when they were kids makes for a good story. But Shinobu is a dull girl and has a golden hair fetish while Alice… is just annoying, in my opinion. If Shinobu comes across someone with blonde hair, she is instantly infatutated. At least Alice has some sort of loyalty…
The series as a whole is alright, but I don’t think I rate it as highly as other yuri fans. In fact, I had planned on writing a post about “what to do with the main couple in a slice-of-life is boring” and these two, along with the second worst OTP, were going to be the stars of the post. Maybe one day.
2. Haruka x Yuu – Sakura Trick
Haruka is a dumb girl who pushes to have a more intimate relationship with her best friend yet does understand the ramifications. You two horndogs are making out every day. This is not what normal friends do. Either say you’re dating or admit that you’re just using her to satisfy your own loneliness. A shallow relationship for a shallow show (but the other couples are fine).
I guess I get a bit testy about this show because I can’t approve of characters who play around with other characters’ hearts when it comes to love due to personal experience, wahaha
But yes, that’s right, I’m not a fan of Sakura Trick even though it’s a yuri show.
If you want to throw down with yours truly, the wait list is about 20 pages long and you’ll have to wait until spring to get your chance. Hurray, hurry, and bite to fight while you can!
1. Daikichi x Rin – Usagi Drop
The drop in the name makes sense. Drop the manga and don’t pick it up. Just leave it there. Leave it behind like 2016.
Or just pretend that the time skip did not happen. Or that Usagi Drop was an anime original. Do what you can to forget that the author paired a girl with her foster father when no one wanted this to happen. Where was the author’s editor???
I can handle the student x teacher romance stuff seen in other series to an extent, but this just takes the cake. I don’t even know where Usagi Drop takes the cake (maybe down to the bakery so the cake can see the other cakes, perhaps), but I have no more cakes left.
No picture for this couple. It should be forgotten forever.
Well, that’s all I wrote, folks. I hope reading these lists were kind of fun. They were fun for me to write even though I took a long time on this one and my tone just jumps all over the place, wahaha

#1 seems like a realll winner. I’ve heard to Usagi Drop a lot but it seems like the manga screwed up.
#2 doesn’t sound all that charming either. While I don’t think people need to be dating or in a relationship to make out or mess around, the situation becomes complicated when feelings are involved. Playing with hearts is not good, nope.

I would say the manga dropped the ball, too. Ahhh, I have half a mind to write a post about manga authors who have betrayed my trust. Usagi Drop would definitely be there as well as ________. Hey, I gotta keep the mystery alive!
Yeah, I might have read into it a bit much, but the relationship between the two two in Sakura Trick didn’t appeal to me. I’m pretty sure Yuu is convinced they’re dating, but I haven’t finished the series since I got tired of the main couple. Sometime in 2017!

I imagine it’ll be frustrating to watch a romance anime if you hate the main romantic couple. Good luck if you do go back to it.

Oh fineeee it had to with a mirror and he’s currently working on some other manga series that’s ongoing.
But I still haven’t forgiven or forgotten after all these years…
I gottaaaa. I’ll just have to double down on the interactions between the beta couple and even the third couple that’s not actually a couple because the main couple is not my fav!

Aaa that one isn’t yuri unfortunately. I was trying to make a yuri couple post, but that one pissed me off so much that I had to include it even though it ain’t yuri.
Yeaaaah I feel you! Gotta be ambitious now that 2017 is hereee. Well, it’s here for you. Not here over here for me. These last few sentences here have been a little unclear, oops.

Haha, this was a fun way to wrap this up. Completely agree that the Usagi Drop pairing is awful. All I know about Usagi Drop is a sweet 11 episode anime and it’s going to stay that way.
