Summary: Konagai Tomoko is a shy first-year student in high school who owns three (anthropomorphic) cats: the cheerful and lively Munchkin Maa, the smart and strait-laced Russian Blue Rou, and the gentle crybaby Singapura Shii. One day Tomoko befriends a classmate named Shiratori Azumi, who also loves cats. Be prepared to sit through a cute and fluffy comedy depicting the daily life of Tomoko and her cats, Tomoko and Azumi’s friendship, and the interactions between cats.

If you must watch this series, save it for a bad day. 24 minutes of diabetes might help?

Verdict:

Nyanko is love!

If you want to invest significantly more than 24 minutes of your life into cute catgirls (12 episodes x 2 minutes per episode = 24 minutes) and want full-sized girls who have cat ears, go play Neko Paradise or something. There’s two visual novels currently out (three if you include the fandisc) with a third official game due to come out soon (estimates are currently aiming for an April 2017 release). NekoPara is also set to receive an OVA late 2017, so yay?
