(Spoilers in this review)
It turns out that the students’ training area, which was supposed to be safe, was overrun by smaller demon beasts because they were all fleeing from this humongous demon beast. Said demon beast appears and starts attacking the students. In response, Ernesti hijacks a Silhouette Knight and essentially defeats the giant monster by himself. The episode ends with an important person (probably the king of the country) wanting to meet Ernesti personally after hearing about his impressive feat.
The show has led me to believe that understanding programming makes you invincible because Ernesti seems to be able to do anything due to his previous life’s occupation. And of course he’s an instant expert on anything he tries, too.
I also wasn’t a fan of the narration, which seems to clarify both what Ernesti attempts to do and belittle the audience’s intelligence by telling us everything as if we can’t put two and two together.
The episode as a whole was somewhat enjoyable since the battle with the huge demon beast, which dominated the episode, was pretty and well animated. But now I’m left wondering how this series will progress from here since he has managed to pilot a Silhouette Knight like he always wanted and he only confirmed his desire to build one for himself.
Well, it looks like it looks pretty.
That’s honestly all I can say reading the story so far tbh. Maybe it’ll get more fun.
(Btw, I’ll be skipping your Kakegurui – did I spell that right – reviews since I want to watch that one when it’s finished.)

Mmm it does look nice. And the animation is solid. But yeah…kind of generic so far. I hope it improves!
(Yes you did and sure thing~)
