So I was laid off from work yesterday. I found out yesterday. While I was driving home from work via a phone call.
Since I didn’t have any other plans lined up considering that I was given no prior notice, I’m currently unemployed. Yay!
What that means is that I’ll be able to be a bit more active. I have plans on doing song covers, writing fanfiction, just writing up more posts in general, and more. This sudden burst of activity may end abruptly once I find another job, but my current plans entail me just celebrating my new sense of freedom that is bound to end sooner or later.
And since I have a bit more free time, I’d be happy to proofread posts before you publish them or to collaborate with you if you want to. Just let me know.
But, uh, yeah. That’s how life is right now. Let me know if you see any writing positions, please?

I’m sorry you had to deal with this unexpected change of events. You have a good attitude about it and I’m glad you’re seeing it as free time rather than getting depressed, but remember that looking for a new job is like a full time job in itself. Those conventions don’t pay for themselves!
