VACATION / HIATUS
Lately my brain has been not much better than mush.
It’s largely, I suspect due to the upcoming week-long vacation. I’ve never had this much time off since I got laid off back in 2017. What makes it even more exciting is that I’m going to the UK to see a dear friend! And it’s starting tomorrow!!
Amusingly enough, my co-worker gave me a wondrous piece of technology called a Tile tracker. Apparently he wants to know where I’m at all times in order to ease his anxiety. I find the gesture sweet, but my friend finds it creepy, haha.
Meanwhile my boss wanted my Instagram handle, but it’s rather barren (it’s the same online handle as my Twitter, so you can go ahead and look me up if you want, but I literally only have two pics uploaded). I’m still debating on letting her know about Remy Fool so she can also have peace of mind as I tweet about how much better Great Britain is compared to Yank Land, but I’m not fully committed to the idea. I’ll have to sleep on it.
So, yeah, I won’t be blogging until at least March 22, 2019. No guarantees on that day, either, since it’s a Friday and all. Not that I’m that active these days, so nothing really changes either way…
MIDSEASON MUSINGS
So I dropped the ball in regards to this since my mind has been largely preoccupied with this vacation. Sorry about that.
This isn’t really a worthy replacement, but here’s a quick little tierlist of the seasonal shows I’m watching right now (Hopefully I can bingewatch Boogiepop when I get back).

Oh, by the way, did you know one of my uncles used to call me 椰子头 (yēzitóu or coconut head)? My head is sort of shaped funny and it’s more obvious when I don’t have much hair (hopefully I don’t take after my father). But yeah, that uncle is lame as fuck since he borrows money from others and never pays them back.
SPRING 2019 ANIME
When I come back I’ll look at the charts and write up a post! Right now I can’t handle that, though!
ETCETERA
- I want to continue covering yuri visual novels even though I’m well aware a lot of people aren’t that interested in this particular topic. For that I must apologize. I’ll try to strike a balance between old Remy and new Remy in regards to writing about yuri visual novels and more general topics pertaining to anime.
- Despite the fact that I’ve been rather happy to praise yuri visual novels I’ve played recently, I’m not a shill. I don’t make a single cent off this blog!
- As always, I’m really behind on keeping up with people’s lives. Sorry about that.
- Lastly, I’ve been really bad at responding to comments recently. My bad.
