In some series, there are characters who are naturally talented. Perhaps they are blessed with luck or they are just very skilled in many areas. These characters usually seem multi-talented and essentially outclass many of their allies or peers.
But this post isn’t about these kinds of characters.

So I wanted to talk about Matsumi Kuro (from Saki Achiga-hen), about how she’s the heart of Team Achiga, and about how her playstyle provides some insight into the difficulty of waiting for someone’s unlikely return.

I haven’t written a “top ___ list” post before. To be honest, I feel like I’m still learning a lot and I’m worried I’ll leave out a character or a show that really should be given recognition. But since Acacia Aurora graciously reached out to me about a collaboration, I came up with some topics the two of us can cover! We’re going to whip up five various top three lists as a challenge of sorts, so look forward to it!

Communication. It’s what people attempt to do in real life when they want something, like expressing their feelings or asking for a glass of water because the restaurant put too much MSG in the food. But it’s also what some characters in anime and manga tend to not do.
